Converting an Activity to an Opportunity

In Microsoft Dynamics CRM, sales are frequently generated from Activity records. For example, a customer could e-mail you about their interest in a product. With Dynamics CRM, Users can convert those Activities into Opportunities with a single click of the mouse.
Faxes, Phone Calls, E-mails, Letters, and Appointments are examples of Activities that can be converted into Opportunity records.
In this tutorial, we will convert an E-mail Activity to an Opportunity.
Converting an E-mail into an Opportunity
- Open the Activity record
- In the Convert Activity area of the ribbon, click To Opportunity.
- The Convert E-mail to Opportunity window opens.
- Select a Customer, Currency, and Source Campaign if necessary. Click the OK button.
