Deactivating System Views

In CRM Online, a number of System Views are associated with various entities out of the box. As you get more familiar with your organization and start to recognize you needs, you might find that some of these Views never get used and are simply taking up space.
In this lesson, we’re going to remove a System View. This task requires a Security Role of System Administrator or equivalent privileges.
It’s also important to note that this is a customization that does not require publishing in order to take effect.
Deactivating a System View
- Navigate to Settings > Customization > Customizations and then click Customize the System
- Drill down to the record type containing the View you wish to deactivate
- Click Views
- Select the View and then click More Actions
- Select Deactivate
