Welcome to How to Make the Most of Your Software Trial. This video will discuss the benefit that software trials can provide, and how to ensure your business uses your trial to its benefit. The best way to find out if a software program is the right choice for running your business is with a live trial. When used appropriately, a trial can give you a really great idea of the value the program can provide. Let's cover some best practices for making the most of software trials. First, set up the trial using meaningful data; a data set that could actually be used in your company is ideal, even if it's a small data set. Next, commit to using the software at least six times during the 30-day trial. Even add it to your calendar, so you don't forget. Before beginning the trial, or right at the beginning of your trial, brainstorm a short list of important business problems the software is designed to solve. Put those issues into a simple spreadsheet and distribute the spreadsheet to the users who are using the trial of the software. Ask all of the trial users to complete a spreadsheet using this simple scoring mechanism: o 3 points -- the software SOLVES the problem o 2 points -- the software SOLVES the problem, BUT… o 1 point -- the software SOLVES the problem with a WORKAROUND, or PARTIALLY solves the problem o 0 points -- the software DOES NOT SOLVE the problem or help the situation Also, be sure to request a demonstration of the product from your Partner. xRM offers software demonstrations; simply fill out the quick form accessible via the URL shown here (http://xrm.com/calltoactionxrm/) or email or call us (firstname.lastname@example.org, 800-836-5147) to set up a demo. xRM also offers easy access to trials of Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, and Microsoft Azure, allowing you to set up trials for one, two, or all three of the products with one simple form. Office 365 brings the flagship office productivity applications you're familiar with, such as Outlook Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to the cloud, so you can access the products and your files anywhere there is an Internet connection, and collaborate with multiple team members in real-time! Microsoft Dynamics 365 provides a comprehensive transformation of your business; it includes everything from financials to sales, customer service, field service, project service automation, and even enterprise-class operations. It even uses the same data model as Office 365, making for seamless integration between Office and your back-end business functions. Dynamics 365 was formerly known as Dynamics CRM, so check it out for a powerful customer relationship management solution as well! Azure allows you to migrate part or all of your infrastructure to the cloud, making Microsoft responsible for the upkeep, maintenance, and support of machinery and networks that drive your business applications, not you. Say goodbye to powerful servers, expensive licenses, and complicated equipment. Want to try any or all of these products for free for 30 days? Fill out the form here, and we'll take care of the rest! That's it for How to Make the Most of Your Software Trial. Thanks for watching this video by xRM!
